My computer died.

I walked off to put together the new dining set I got, and when I came back, the computer had shut itself off, and wouldn’t turn back on. I was wondering what the plastic-ey smell in the air was… and the fan was making funny noises earlier… so I guess the fan died and the thing overheated. I guess I’ll have to investigate when I have some time; for now I’m stuck with just the laptop.

The truck failed its smog check too. There’s a new test the state is requiring called the ‘evap’ test. Apparently it checks for gas leakage between the tank and the engine. Well, for quite some time now the back of the truck has smelled like gas, especially when the tank is full… I’m betting it has something to do with that. So now I have to go get that fixed too.
