That was exciting
Almost had a fire in the meat department. The big 220 electrical cable running to the meat grinder started smoking at the connector. My coworkers ran upstairs (or upladders actually) to turn off the breakers while I stood by it with a fire extinguisher on standby in case it suddenly burst into flame or something. It finally stopped, presumably after they found the right breaker, and our front end manager came and took over.
When my coworker came into my department going “Nate, there’s a fire in here!” for a moment I thought he was shitting me; at least until I went over and saw the smoke.
